Instructional and Educational Technology Committee (IETC)


Charge
The Instructional and Educational Technology Committee (IETC) is tasked with advising the Faculty Senate, the Chief Information Officer for Information Technology Services - ITS, and the administration on matters related to The Technology Hub policy and administration. Additionally, the committee serves as a crucial liaison between the faculty and the Technology Hub.

COMPOSITION (APPROVED BY FACULTY SENATE ON NOVEMBER 5, 2002):
Instructional and Educational Technology Committee is a Joint Committee between the Provost and the Faculty Senate as described in Article IV, Title B. 2. of the Faculty Bylaws.

Instructional and Educational Technology Committee consists of 14 members total:

  • Provost who is Chair
  • Vice Provost for Administration
  • Associate Vice President for Computing and Educational Technology
  • 7 faculty drawn from various schools and the Library
  • 2 additional members chosen by the Provost
  • 1 graduate student, and 1 Undergraduate Student.
